T.J. Zeuch

T.J. Zeuch was recalled from Triple-A to replace Graham Ashcraft in the Reds' rotation on Wednesday. He didn't fare well allowing six runs on seven hits in 2 2/3 innings to take the loss. The right-hander walked four and did not record a strikeout in the 7-5 defeat against the Phillies.

Zeuch has bounced back and forth between the minors and majors this month getting three starts with the big club. He has taken the loss in all three starts while posting a 15.19 ERA with seven walks and just five strikeouts over 10 2/3 innings. He may get some more chances for the Reds down the stretch but should not get a chance in your fantasy lineup.

The Cardinals have acquired relief pitcher T.J. Zeuch from the Blue Jays in exchange for cash considerations. He's been optioned to Triple-A Memphis.
