After missing major league action for a couple weeks, Trevor Larnach (groin) could be activated in time for Sunday's game per Dan Hayes of The Athletic.
Larnach has dealt with a right groin strain, which placed him on the injured list and lead to a rehab assignment with Double-A Wichita. The 25-year-old will likely regain his every day spot in left field once activated.
The Minnesota Twins have placed LF Trevor Larnach on the 10-day IL with a strained right groin as reported by The Athletic’s Dan Hayes.
Trevor Larnach ends up on the IL after straining his groin throwing out a base runner in Friday night’s 2-1 victory over the Athletics. Larnach is hitting .313 with 7 RBIs and an .813 OBL in 67 at-bats this season. Jose Godoy has been recalled from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Larnach on the active roster.
Trevor Larnach went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, a double and a run scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Rays.
Larnach was a midgame substitution for Kyle Garlick, who left with an injury, and he made an immediate impact for the Twins. The outfielder, who is hitting .288 on the year, may see more playing time going forward if Garlick were to miss significant time.
Trevor Larnach went 1-for-4 with an RBI double, a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Rays.

Twins left fielder Trevor Larnach went 2-for-2, picking up a double Friday night in the Twins' 2-1 win over the White Sox.
Larnach now has hits in his last two games after going hitless in his previous four games for Minnesota. The outfielder is hitting .259 with one run scored and two runs batted in through nine games this season.
