SS - OAK
Marcus Semien is one of the most polarizing figures in fantasy this year. He had an MVP-type season last season - not saying that lightly at all - and there's not much in the peripherals that scream regression is coming, but he is a 29-year-old who had a breakout season by all accounts. Prior to 2019, he was the definition of a replacement-level fantasy option. There should always be trepidation with those types of breakouts.
Semien is currently being drafted outside the top 12 fantasy shortstops around the 7th round but did you know that he finished among the top five last year and ahead of Lindor, Turner and Torres. Semien knocked 33 bombs with double-digit steals, a good .285 batting average and 123 runs.
