Anthony Santander (shoulder) will undergo left labral surgery on Wednesday and will miss 5-6 months as announced by manager John Schneider.
Fantasy Impact
Santander signed a five-year, $92 million contract with Toronto prior to last season and injuries, so far, have derailed his Blue Jays' tenure. Last season, the slugger slashed just .194/.271/.294 with six home runs in 221 plate appearances in his first season with Toronto. Santander belted a career-high 44 home runs and drove in 102 runs in his last season with Baltimore in 2024, prompting Toronto to sign him that offseason. The organization is optimistic that Santander can return sometime before the end of the season.
