Brent Rooker has agreed to a five-year, $60 million extension with the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact
The 30-year-old outfielder is rewarded for an outstanding 2024 and will remain with the Athletics for at least five years. There is also a vesting option that can take the deal to six years and $90 million. He hit .293 with 39 home runs and a .392 wOBA last season.
