Expert NoteView More Notes
Just last season, Peralta was being touted as one of the most underrated hitters in baseball. He struggled before an injury derailed his 2016 season, but has the potential to hit 20 homers with a .300 batting average so if you are willing to take a risk, he comes with a nice upside.

David Peralta showing good signs in camp
David Peralta was limited to just 48 games last year due to injuries including wrist surgery that ended his season.
Peralta does seem to be recovering from his surgery nicely, as he hit his first bomb of the spring on Thursday. He was a very productive player for Arizona in 2015, hitting .312 with 17 home runs and 9 steals. If we assume that his struggles last year were due to the injuries and he can return to his 2015 form, Peralta could provide nice sleeper value. He is currently being taken as the 309th player off the board according to consensus ADP.
