Gregory Soto pitched a perfect ninth inning, striking out one, to secure his sixth save of the season as the Pirates held off the Cubs, 2-1, on Monday.

Soto made quick work of Nico Hoerner, Seiya Suzuki, and Carson Kelly in the ninth to collect his sixth save in eight chances this season. The lefthander has not been scored upon in 21 of his 25 outings this season and is 3-0 with six saves, six holds, and a 2.13 ERA. He has limited opponents to a .118 average and has a 31:10 K:BB ratio in 25.1 innings. Soto has taken over the closer's role in Pittsburgh and should be owned in all formats.
