Texas Rangers pitcher Jon Gray is scheduled to return to the rotation Wednesday after being scratched from his last outing due to back stiffness.

Gray threw a bullpen session Sunday and reported no back stiffness afterward. The veteran right-hander signed with the Rangers prior to last season and pitched to a 3.96 ERA and 18.2% K-BB% across 24 starts in his first season with the club. Gray should settle in a mid-level fantasy option in 2023.
