Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Miguel Vargas should resume swinging a bat on March 8 after suffering a hairline pinkie-finger fracture.
Fantasy Impact
Vargas is in line to handle everyday duties at second base for the Dodgers this season but suffered a hairline fracture in his right pinkie finger this spring. He's played in Cactus League games but has been instructed not to swing the bat. He scuffled in 50 MLB plate appearances last season but hit .304 with 17 homers, 16 steals, and a .915 OPS across 113 games at Triple-A in 2022.
