Contreras (5-5) was denied his sixth win of the year as the game went into a rain delay following the top of the fourth. The righty continues to pitch well throughout his rookie campaign, allowed two runs or less in six of his last seven starts. Contreras is scheduled to face the Cardinals next week in what may be his final start of 2022.
