Royce Lewis and the Minnesota Twins avoided arbitration and agreed on a contract worth $2.85 million for the 2026 season.
Fantasy Impact
Lewis, the former first overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, has not enjoyed a fully healthy season since being called up by the Twins. Last year, Lewis played a career-high 106 games and batted .237 with 13 home runs and 52 RBI while also stealing 12 bases. Lewis is a career .255 hitter with 46 home runs in parts of four seasons in Minnesota. Lewis will again be given every opportunity to take the third base job and run with it in 2026. If, and it's a big if, he can stay healthy, he has the potential to hit 25-30 home runs and steal 15-20 bags.
