Spencer Horwitz went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs batted in on Tuesday as the Pirates routed the Cubs, 12-1.
Fantasy Impact
Horwitz started his day with a single in the fourth, lifted a sacrifice fly in the fifth, and then belted a solo home run off of Daniel Palencia in the seventh. It was his sixth home run of the year, but his third in the last seven games. Horwitz is quietly putting together a nice start to the 2026 season, batting .289 with six home runs and 25 RBI in 50 games. He has hit safely in 17 of 21 games in May and is hitting .338 with a 1.001 OPS for the month. Horwitz has played his way into an everyday role with the Pirates and is worth a flier in fantasy to see if the hot stretch continues.
