Fantasy Impact
The deal comes along with an invite to big-league spring training. Thompson carries with him big-time power with 45 home runs across 1,058 career trips to the plate but is also just a .212 career hitter with a sky-high 32.7% K%. He should still get a decent look as a part-time player with the Mets in 2024 given the raw power.
