Normall Powell scores 13 points in Game 3

Norman Powell drew the start in Friday night’s Toronto loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-94. Powell offered a refreshing presence to the Raptor’s lineup, especially on the defensive end. In total, he grabbed two steals and scored 13 points in nearly 36 minutes of action. Trailing in the series 3-0 against the Cavs, Powell and the Raptor’s will look to avoid elimination on Sunday night at home.

Fantasy Impact:

Powell is averaging 11 points thus far in the series against Cleveland with Game 3 being his most productive game yet. It is likely that his numbers and minutes were inflated due to the absence of Kyle Lowry as he had not seen over 27 minutes in either of the first two games of the series. If Lowry is out, which may be possible, Powell is a nice mid-level salary DFS option that can provide valuable cap relief when looking to spend up on the big names.
