Meyers Leonard will be a free agent after this season, but wants to remain with the Miami Heat. (Source: Anthony Chiang of Miami Herald )

Fantasy Impact: Leonard will be a free agent after the season and feels he's in a "good place" with the Heat. “I’m in a good place here in Miami,” Leonard said on the podcast. “I really feel as though I help Jimmy [Butler] and Bam [Adebayo] in a lot of ways. I space the floor, I give them opportunities to attack driving lanes and get out in transition." The 28-year-old is recovering well from his severely sprained ankle he sustained in February. He missed 16 consecutive games before the NBA season was suspended due to the cornavirus pandemic. Leonard averaged 6.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 49 games in the 2019-2020 campaign.

Miami Heat President Pat Riley spoke very highly of Bam Adebayo, stating that “I’ve never met a man like this, a player, who was so respectful, had so much dignity, was such a team guy, that has grown to a point where he wants this responsibility,”. Riley expanded on this sentiment, by continuing, “he reminds me a lot of Dwyane, in Dwyane’s attitude.” (Source: Miami Heat on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Adebayo was in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals through 65 games. Adebayo can really do it all - as he's been the fulcrum of the Heat offense while anchoring the defense with his energy and proven ability to guard multiple positions. Adebayo continues to draw praise from his coaches and his teammates for his work ethic and leadership and it shows through his on-court production. At only age 22 years of age, Bam is a star in the making and will likely garner a second-round selection in fantasy drafts next season.

Jae Crowder tallied eight points (3-8 FG, 2-7 3PT) 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 31 minutes in Wednesday's 109-98 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Crowder was two points shy of recording his second double-double of the season. He had missed Monday's win over the Wizards due to a concussion. Crowder has cooled down as of late, averaging 4.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks and 1.0 triples in his last three contests. He produces enough in other categories to be owned in all league formats. The NBA is currently suspended and it is unclear at this time when it will resume play.

Category: Game Recaps

Duncan Robinson registered 12 points (3-13 FG, 3-13 3PT, 3-3 FT) four rebounds, two assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 109-98 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson entered Wednesday's game red hot from downtown, shooting an incredible 61 percent in his previous four contests. He struggled in Wednesday's loss ,as he was only able to knock down 3-of-13 from beyond the arc. Despite the bad outing, Robinson has been lights out from three-point land in March, burying 30-of-57 triples across five games. He should be owned in all standard leagues. The 25-year old guard will look to rebound from Wednesday's outing once the NBA season resumes.

Category: Game Recaps

Kendrick Nunn scored a team-high 24 points (9-15 FG, 6-10 3PT) three assists, two rebounds and two turnovers across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 109-98 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Nunn knocked down a season-high six threes in Wednesday's loss to the Hornets. With Jimmy Butler ruled out, Nunn capitalized on his opportunity by leading the Heat in scoring. He is having a productive March, averaging 13.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 3.0 triples across five games. Nunn should be owned in all league formats. He will look to keep the momentum going once the NBA resumes play.

Derrick Jones Jr. scored 23 points (10-13- FG, 3-5 3PT), while adding two rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes in the Heat's 109-98 loss against the Hornets on Wednesday night.

Fantasy Impact: Jones Jr. had one of his best games of the year, scoring 23 points tonight. This was his second highest scoring output of the year. Jones Jr. doesn't produce enough on a regular basis to be owned in standard leagues, but is worth stashing in deep-league formats. The NBA has now suspended the season temporarily, due to the Coronavirus Outbreak.

NBA.com is listing Jimmy Butler as out for Wednesday’s match-up with the Hornets due to a toe injury. (Source: NBA.com )

Fantasy Impact: With Butler out look for Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic to help compensate the missing forward’s contribution. Also Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn are both active which will help the Heat’s chances winning tonight. Pick-up Herro if he’s available in your league.

Category: Injury Updates

Tyler Herro (ankle) will be available to make his return tonight against the Hornets. (Source: Ira Winderman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Herro has been out for over a month nursing the right ankle injury. This comes as perfect timing, as Jimmy Butler (toe) has been ruled out for tonight’s game. Herro might be available in a few leagues, and deserves to be picked up in most leagues given his early season performance. Kendrick Nunn (illness) will also be available tonight for the Heat.

Solomon Hill scored 5 points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-2 FT ), while adding four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes in the Heat's 100-89 win against the Wizards on Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact: Hill played a season-high in minutes tonight, providing multiple rebounds, steals and blocks. Jimmy Butler left tonight’s game with a toe injury, depending on the severity it could lead to rotational minutes for Hill. Even with possible extended minutes, he is still best left on the waiver wire. The Heat will next take on the Hornets on Wednesday night.

Kelly Olynyk managed two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3PT) three rebounds, one assist and one turnover across nine minutes in Sunday's 100-89 win over the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact: After scoring double figures in his first games in March, Olynyk has managed just two total points in his last two contests. He is averaging 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 triples during the month. Olynyk can be held onto in deep-league formats, but he doesn't produce enough to be considered in standard leagues. The Heat's next scheduled game is Wednesday, home against the Hornets.

Goran Dragic provided 11 points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3PT, 4-4 FT) four rebounds, three assists an two turnovers across 23 minutes in Sunday's 100-89 win over the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact: Dragic has struggled from the field in the March, shooting a pedestrian 38 percent across four games. He is one of the main scoring threats off Miami's bench, averaging 16.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.2 triples across 53 contests this season. Dragic is worth owning in standard leagues, especially fantasy owners who need help in scoring, assists and threes. The Heat's next scheduled game is Wednesday, home against the Hornets.

Andre Iguodala scored ten points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3PT, 0-2 FT), while adding seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks across 25 minutes in Friday’s 110-104 loss against the Pelicans

Fantasy Impact: Iguodala stuffed the stat sheet tonight, this was easily his best game of the year. Iguodala got extended minutes tonight playing a season-high 25 minutes. Although, the 33 fantasy points tonight was impressive, this game was more of an anomaly. Iguodala is best left on the waiver wire at this point in his career. The Heat will next take on the Wizards on Sunday night.

Category: Game Recaps

Chris Silva scored four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), while adding four rebounds, three assists and one block across 12 minutes in the Heat's 125-119 overtime loss against the Cavaliers on Monday night.

Fantasy Impact: Silva was forced into game action tonight, as Kelly Olynyk picked up two early fouls in the first quarter. He produced a well-rounded stat line in his 12 minutes played. Silva rarely logs game time, he is not a recommended option going forward and he should remain on the waiver wire.

Gabe Vincent scored three points (1-7 FG, 1-6 3PT), while adding two rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes in the Heat's 105-97 loss against the Kings on Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Vincent, playing in his second NBA game of his career could not buy a bucket, converting only one shot attempt. He has struggled in his first two games as a pro, making only 22 percent of his field goal attempts. Vincent and the Heat will next take on the Trailblazers on Sunday night.

KZ Okpala scored seven points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT), while adding four rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist across 21 minutes in Friday’s 105-97 loss against the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Okpala was recently recalled from the G-league, where he had been averaging 11 points and 7 rebounds per game. He was active on both sides of the court in tonight’s game. DFS owners who randomly rolled the dice with Okpala based on his minimum price tag, got a decent fantasy output from the rookie. There is no reason to rush to the waiver wire to pick him up, as his minutes were a result of several players ruled out due to injuries. Okpala and the Heat will next play on Sunday against the Trailblazers.

James Johnson has been traded to the Timberwolves in exchange for Gorgui Dieng. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Johnson was just traded to Memphis hours before being dealt again to the Timberwolves. The move to Minnesota should increase his fantasy value, as he should see an increased role off the bench. Johnson is averaging 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.12 assists and 0.7 blocks across 18 games this season. With the recent move to Minnesota, he should be owned in deep-league formats.

Dion Waiters was traded to the Grizzlies on Thursday in the deal that sent Andre Iguodala to the Heat. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN)

Fantasy Impact: Waiters was dealt to Memphis along with teammates Justise Winselow and James Johnson. Waiters has been out most of the season. He has only played three games all year. The Grizzlies will take a chance on Waiters and see if he can rebound to his 2015-2016 levels. Waiters is a fringe deep-league option at best and is should be left on the waiver wire.

Justise Winslow (back) is part of a package going from the Heat to the Grizzlies on Wednesday in exchange for Andre Iguodala. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Winselow will be one of the pieces heading to Memphis as part of the deal for Iguodala. The 23-year old forward has been sidelined most of the season due to a back injury. He is averaging 11.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 0.6 steals across 11 games for the Heat this season. Winselow will remain out through at least the All-Star break. Fantasy owners should stash Winselow, once he returns the 23-year old forward could see an expanded role with his new team.
