Lauri Markkanen records double-double in loss to Thunder

Lauri Markkanen led the Bulls starters in scoring netting 16 points on 6-for-17 shooting including 1-for-3 from beyond the arc. He added 15 rebounds, two steals and two blocks to his stat line over 28 minutes of action in Monday night's 121-96 loss to the Thunder. This was his second double-double of the season since his return from an extended absence.
Fantasy Impact:
Markkanen has struggled a bit since his return from injury shooting at a 37 percent clip from the field, which is a little down for a career 42 percent shooter from the field. His rebounding production was very impressive however, Monday night was the second time reaching double-digits in rebounding. He remains a nightly threat for a double-double, but it seems on this terrible Bulls team his ceiling may be capped. Good news is he will remain one of the lead dogs offensively so his opportunity for fantasy success will remain steady. His 17 shot attempts Monday were the most on the team.
