Deandre Ayton has quiet night in Monday's win

by Dave Kluge | Trail Blazers Correspondent | Mon, Feb 24th 11:51pm EST

Deandre Ayton had a quiet and efficient Monday, recording 16 points (8-9 FG), five rebounds, and two assists over 25 minutes in a big 139-111 win over the Jazz.

Fantasy Impact:

Ayton played limited minutes as the game was out of control by the fourth quarter. Because of his shortened playing time and inability to get to the charity stripe, he put up one of his more pedestrian performances after posting monster double-doubles seemingly every night since his return from suspension. Ayton remains an elite option at the center position and there's no need to worry about Monday's off night. The sophomore out of Arizona is averaging 19 points and 12.2 rebounds this season and is a threat to go off for a big game every time he takes the court.
