Ayton was back in the starting lineup after arriving late to Monday's game. His scoring has been lackluster in the bubble but he's notched double-digit rebounds in four of seven games. He's not a safe play but does have plenty of upside in Thursday's seeding round finale against Dallas.
Deandre Ayton missed COVID-19 testing on Sunday and had to be tested for thing Monday morning. He’s replaced in the starting lineup by Dario Saric.
This news came out pretty late, so hopefully DFS players were able to remove Ayton from their lineups. He’ll rejoin the team when he registers a negative test result.

Ayton had a decent performace against a Clippers front court that was without starting forward Montrezl Harrell. Fantasy owners were hoping that Ayton would take advantage of of the injured Clippers front court, but was instead outplayed by the Clippers Ivica Zubac. Ayton is talented offensive player, who should continue to play well, but draws a tough match up on Thursday against Myles Turner and the Indiana Pacers. Ayton may be a player to avoid in daily fantasy on Thursday.
Deandre Ayton failed to reach double-figures in Sunday's 117-115 win over the Mavericks, contributing seven points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT) and collecting eight rebounds in 21 minutes of action.
Ayton is coming off a 24 point and 12 rebound performance versus the Wizards on Friday but cooled off tonight. Due to a combination of getting into early foul trouble and game flow, Ayton didn't see his usual usage rate and only received 21 minutes on the court. Ayton will have a couple of days off to prepare to face a vulnerable Clippers front-court on Tuesday.
