Jordan McLaughlin fails to perform in loss to the Magic

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Timberwolves Correspondent | Sun, Mar 1st 1:26am EST

Jordan McLaughlin totaled six points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3PT, 3-5 FT), one rebound, three assists, and one steal in 18 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 136-125 loss to the Magic on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

McLaughlin failed to build upon his strong game against the Heat, by shooting a low of 25 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. Had it not been for his performance at the “charity-line” and the few assists he managed to have the entire game would have been a wash. McLaughlin has shown a lot of potential during his rookie campaign; however, with a crowded backcourt, it appears he is having a difficult time putting together consistent performances that showcase his well-rounded game. At this point, he is an easy fade in all fantasy formats until he proves otherwise.
