Jordan McRae to be claimed off waivers by the Phoenix Suns

Fantasy Impact:
McRae agreed to a buyout with the Denver Nuggets earlier today. After being traded from Washington to Denver in exchange for Shabazz Napier at the deadline, McRae got buried on the depth chart on a deep Nuggets roster. McRae had been playing really well for Washington, averaging 12.8 ppg, prior to being traded to Denver, where he played only four games and averaged only 2.3 points in eight minutes per game. McRae will look to fill even a little piece of the void left by Kelly Oubre Jr. after he suffered a torn meniscus last week.
