Courtney Lee likely to remain on the Mavericks roster despite injury

Sources say that Lee is a vital member of the Mavericks locker room and is highly respected by the entire team, most notably Luka Doncic. It would make sense for Lee to travel down to Orlando with the team even if he can’t play to act as a mentor/coach given the unique basketball environment the season will resume in. Lee has certainly made his way around the NBA, playing for eight teams in 12 seasons, but it looks like he’s sticking with the Mavericks at least for now as they go into the stretch run of the 2019-20 season.
