Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has joined the Mavericks in Orlando and should be ready to play when the season resumes. Dallas was expecting Trey Burke to join the team around the same time that Kidd-Gilchrist did, but the team is still uncertain of when Burke will join them. (Dallas Morning News)
Fantasy Impact:
Kidd-Gilchrist has had minimal fantasy value with the Mavericks so far. This could change however, as Dallas is going into the restart without Courtney Lee, Jalen Brunson, and Dwight Powell. In Charlotte, Kidd-Gilchrist played more significant minutes and was efficient as a scorer and in rebounding. If Dallas gives Kidd-Gilchrist an extended opportunity he should have some early season value in daily fantasy. It's unlikely that he can become a reliable option for your fantasy team, but he is worth keeping an eye on.
