Tobias Harris to miss time due to COVID-19

by Evan Ritter | 76ers Correspondent | Mon, Nov 1st 9:08pm EDT

Tobias Harris, the 76ers high scoring forward is expected to miss at least the next three games due to being placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols. Since he's already been ruled out multiple games, it most likely suggest he submitted a positive COVID-19 test but we should expect a more definitive time-table for the Sixers forward in the next 12 to 24 hours. Harris is the second player of note to be placed in the league's health and safety protocols. News broke earlier Monday evening Kevin Love is slated to miss time as well, as he too entered the COVID-19 protocol Monday evening. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

With Harris already being ruled out for at least the next few games and possibly more, he will move to the bench of fantasy rosters. That leaves managers with the task of finding a player to replace Harris in their lineup for the time being. Furkan Korkmaz received the start in his place tonight, and looks to be the next man up, at least initially making him a possible streaming option if you're in a deeper league. Carmelo Anthony, Cam Reddish, and Franz Wagner are also widely available and could be viable options to help lessen the impact for fantasy rosters that will be without one of their top fantasy assets for the near future.
