According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Memphis Grizzlies F Jaren Jackson Jr., underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot on Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for 4-to-6 months. (Adrian Wojnarowski)

Just 30-minutes prior to free agency, the Grizzlies dropped the news that injury-riddled forward, Jaren Jackson Jr., has surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot. The team is optimistic that Jackson will make a full recovery and in time to return for the regular season. A 4-6 month recovery has him looking at a November return which will likely have him missing a few games to start the season.
