Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dazzled on Sunday to the tune of 40 points (12-24 FG, 16-19 FT) to go with five rebounds, four assists, and one steal over 35 minutes as the Thunder defeated the Suns 124-120.
Fantasy Impact:
Gilgeous-Alexander put on quite the matinee showing against Phoenix, and he did it without even attempting a single three-pointer. So much for the Oklahoma City tank many had expected once the calendar flipped to March. Instead, the Thunder have now won five of their past six games and now find themselves clinging onto a playoff spot. At this point it is a near certainty that OKC will continue to ride SGA until the wheels fall off.
