Clarke is recovering from a devastating achilles injury that he suffered quite some time ago and won't be ready for the start of the season. This was expected given his recovery timeline, but we still don't know when exactly the team is planning on him being healthy. Xavier Tillman will be in line for a bigger role for the time being until we know more about when Tillman will be able to return to the lineup.
