Markkanen reportedly experienced hamstring soreness following practice last Friday. He was re-evaluated and diagnosed with a left hamstring strain on Sunday and is expected to be re-evaluated again after the road trip. Simone Fontecchio figures to remain in the starting lineup these next couple of games.
