Malik Monk filled the stat sheet in Thursday’s win over the Trail Blazers, contributing 21 points (8-of-20 FG), seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Fantasy Impact:
Monk has stepped up in Sacramento’s first two games since trading De’Aaron Fox, tallying back-to-back performances with at least 21 points and seven rebounds. Despite the addition of Zach LaVine, Monk’s role in the starting lineup should keep his fantasy value intact. While his efficiency wasn’t great Thursday, the volume remains encouraging. He’s a must-roster player in all formats as the Kings adjust to their new-look backcourt.
