Ingles will likely miss the remainder of the preseason due to the groin injury, and his status for the team’s regular season opener on October 22 against the Portland Trail Blazers is uncertain. He appeared in 19 games last season, averaging six minutes, and wasn’t expected to have a significant role this year. If he misses time to start the season, his absence won’t impact the rotation.
