Joe Ingles totaled 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-7 3PT), three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the Jazz’s 118-104 loss to the Clippers on Monday.
Ingles will look to call his shot after the Jazz's loss to the Clippers in Game Four. He has been an invaluable scoring asset in this series for the Jazz and will look to continue putting his "stamp" on this offense as the team travels home to do battle against a compromised Clippers squad. This streak of his has the chance to end tonight, as he has shown to be a player who thrives over time, and the more he is familiar with a certain game context. The series moving back home to Utah could lead to him being less effective on the floor. However, with that being said, he does have the ability to sustain long streaks of double-digit scoring production as he had streaks of seven and eight, respectively, from April 8th to May 8th. Tonight could be his best game of the series from a non-scoring stats standpoint with Kawhi Leonard out. Ingles does have the ability to stuff the stat sheet any given night, and he may be able to do so in this Game Five contest.
Joe Ingles totaled 19 points (6-11 FG, 5-8 3PT, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in the Jazz’s 132-106 loss to the Clippers on Saturday.
Ingles prepares to put it all together after the Jazz’s loss to the Clippers in Game Three. His recent scoring and shooting success may be the real deal. After disappearing from the team when Mike Conley returned, Ingles has seemed to find himself back in rhythm as the team’s facilitator. Although his assist and rebound production is erratic and can be conservative on most nights, his more aggressive shot taking has recently served as a viable catalyst for generating more attractive stat and fantasy lines. It also helps that the Clippers have not aggressively keyed in on him, albeit that may change tonight, due to Donovan Mitchell's near transcendent play. Suppose the Clippers inadvertently underestimate Ingle's contribution and focus their efforts to stop the usual suspects Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Jordan Clarkson. In that case, Ingles could be one of if not the borderline best value play on tonight's two-game slate.
Joe Ingles scored 10 points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go along with five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in Utah's win Sunday over Sacramento.
Ingles continued to deliver a respectable amount of assists despite the return of Mike Conley. He will look to continue to deliver this type of playmaking ability as Utah secured the No. 1 seed in the Western conference playoffs.
Joe Ingles scored 14 points (4-13 FG, 3-9 3PT, 3-4 FT) to go along with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in Utah's loss Wednesday against the Spurs.
Ingles has oddly scored 14 points every other game over Utah's last six games. He has been struggling from deep a little bit as of late.
