Dinwiddie, an 11-year veteran, signed a one-year deal with the Hornets in the offseason but has now been waived as the team needed to clear a guaranteed salary ahead of Opening Night to finalize its roster. Charlotte’s backcourt will feature LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Tre Mann and Collin Sexton. Dinwiddie will likely find another opportunity elsewhere in the NBA.
