Stephen Curry scores 23 points in season opener

Stephen Curry put up 23 points (6-of-14 FG, 8-of-8 FT), one rebound, four assists, three steals, one block, and three three-pointers in the Warriors' season-opening victory against the Lakers on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Curry's field goal percentage suffered due to an uncharacteristic 2-of-10 shooting night from three-point range, but he salvaged his scoring output by getting to the free-throw line eight times and converting perfectly. He rounded out his line with solid contributions across the board, notably collecting three steals. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect steals at that level consistently, however, as Curry only recorded three or more steals in five games all of last season. Overall, it was a productive start for the veteran guard.
