Nikola Topic diagnosed with testicular cancer

Thunder general manager Sam Presti announced Thursday that Nikola Topic has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. The 20-year-old underwent a testicular procedure in the offseason, which Presti revealed was a biopsy that confirmed the diagnosis. Topic has already begun chemotherapy treatment. (Ryan Stiles)

According to Presti, the medical team is confident that Topic will make a recovery. There is currently no discussion about a timeline for his return to the court, as his health and well-being are the main priority. He is out indefinitely and should not be rostered in any fantasy leagues.
