Marvin Bagley records six defensive stats in loss

Bagley produced nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, three blocks and three steals across 16 minutes during Monday’s 137-135 overtime loss to the Pistons. The veteran big man was highly active defensively, finishing with six combined steals and blocks in limited minutes.

Bagley’s defensive outburst was a notable deviation from his usual production, as he had totaled just seven combined steals and blocks across his previous 10 games. With Alex Sarr healthy and starting, Bagley remains a depth piece in Washington’s frontcourt rotation.
