Marvin Bagley III
F - SAC
Marvin Bagley III has been declared out for Thursday's game against the Lakers.
Bagley injured himself prior to the bubble games starting and hasn't played since. Don't expect to see him hit the court this season. His injury history will cause him to drop significantly in 2020-2021 drafts.
Marvin Bagley III (foot) will not play in Friday's matchup against the Nets.
Bagley reinjured his foot prior to the restart and has been unable to suit up since. The results of the MRI have not been made public yet but given his history, it might be best to assume that he won't be back any time soon. He shouldn't be taking up a roster spot on any fantasy teams at this point.
Marvin Bagley III will be held out of the NBA restart in Orlando due to a right foot injury.
Bagley was diagnosed with a lateral foot sprain and is expected to be in a boot for two weeks. He injured his foot in Sunday's practice and has now been ruled out for the season. Tough break for the 21-year-old, who was deemed fully healthy just before entering the Orlando bubble. Bagley will finish the 2019-20 campaign averaging 14.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, 0.8 assists, and 0.5 steals across 13 games. Look for Harrison Barnes and Nemanja Bjelica to see expanded roles with Bagley out for the season.
Marvin Bagley III injured his foot in Sunday's practice. The Kings have performed an MRI but the results are still waiting on evaluation.
Bagley's foot problems stemming back to last season still seem to be flaring up again. Bagley missed 20 games his rookie season and was only able to suit up for 13 matches this year. While the Kings were hopeful that Bagley would be able to contribute in the playoffs, it is likely that Richaun Holmes will start in his place. Holmes was averaging 12.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game before injuring his shoulder in January, but he has fully healed and will be able to resume team activities on July 22nd after notoriously breaking the bubble. Keep an eye out for updated news on the severity of Bagley's injury.
Marvin Bagley III (foot) is fully healthy and will be "looked at" in Orlando. "It's way too early to determine his role," said Kings' HC Luke Walton.
Bagley has been limited to 13 games this season due to a sprained left foot. He is expected to play when the season restarts in Orlando, but his role in the Kings' offense is not clear at this time. Bagley averaged 14.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, 0.8 assists, and 0.5 steals this season. Despite the uncertainty of his role in the Kings' offense during the NBA restart in Orlando, the 21-year-old has plenty of upside and tremendous value in dynasty leagues.
