Memphis Grizzlies head coach Tuomas Iisalo said Ja Morant fully participated in Thursday's practice. The team will monitor how his body responds before deciding whether he will be available for Friday's game against the Utah Jazz. (Michael Wallace on Twitter)

Morant has been sidelined since mid-November with a calf strain, but is nearing a return. The Grizzlies will likely wait until Friday morning’s shootaround to provide a status update. When he returns, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. are expected to see reduced minutes.
