Jabari Smith Jr. posted a near double-double for the Rockets Thursday night, grabbing seven rebounds and chipping in 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3PT, 2-2 FT) while also blocking one shot and recording two steals in a 119-96 win over the Lakers.

Smith Jr. continues a solid stretch on both ends of the floor, finishing with one or more rebounds and 12 or more points in each of his last five games. The forward continues to offer head coach Ime Udoka one of many reliable options as part of an explosive Houston starting five, averaging 15.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game to go along with a usage rate of 18.0% so far this season.
