Zion Williamson aggressive in loss, ramps up workload

by Bruno Mulé | Pelicans Correspondent | Sat, Dec 27th 10:00am EST

Zion Williamson continued his return to form in Friday's loss to the Suns, recording 20 points on efficient 5-of-10 shooting from the field. He did most of his damage from the charity stripe, converting 10-of-14 free throws, while adding eight rebounds, six assists, and a block in 27 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

The 14 free-throw attempts were just two shy of his season high, signaling an aggressive approach as he gets closer to a full minutes workload following his recent five-game ramp-up period. Over his last six games, the 25-year-old is averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. Williamson will look to build on this performance when the Pelicans and Suns face off again on Saturday in the second leg of a back-to-back.
