Isaiah Collier posts double-double in expanded role
by Bruno Mulé | Jazz Correspondent | Fri, Jan 2nd 9:42am EST
Isaiah Collier stepped up as the Jazz's lead guard in Thursday’s loss to the Clippers, recording his third double-double of the season with 16 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 10 assists, six rebounds, one block, and a three-pointer.
Fantasy Impact:
With Keyonte George sidelined due to illness, Collier took full advantage of the increased opportunity, finding a strong offensive rhythm despite facing a tough Clippers defense. Although he committed five turnovers, his playmaking and efficient scoring provided a bright spot for Utah. If George remains out for Saturday’s matchup against the Warriors, Collier could be in line for another heavy workload.
