Poeltl has dealt with lower back issues throughout the season, forcing him to miss time on multiple occasions. Head coach Darko Rajakovic said Poeltl has been progressing well since exiting early from the December 21 game against the Brooklyn Nets, but a return does not appear imminent, as he has yet to participate in a full-contact practice. He remains without a clear timetable to return.
