Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 21 points in win

by Bruno Mulé | Grizzlies Correspondent | Wed, Jan 7th 10:20am EST

Jaren Jackson Jr. reached the 20-point mark for the eighth time in his last 11 games since December 15, finishing with 21 points (7-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, three blocks, two steals, and two assists across 35 minutes in Tuesday's victory over the Spurs. The 26-year-old forward came one board shy of what would have been his third double-double of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

While Jackson has been a disappointment from a fantasy perspective this year, his recent scoring uptick offers encouragement. With Memphis navigating a wave of injuries to key rotation players, he'll be counted on to shoulder a heavy load on both ends of the floor moving forward.
