Anthony Davis overcame an off night from the field to post a double-double with 19 points (7-of-23 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 16 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in Tuesday's win over Sacramento. His 16 boards fell one short of his season-high while his activity on defense helped offset the poor shooting performance.
Fantasy Impact:
The Mavericks forward/center has swatted seven shots across his last two games, benefiting from playing alongside Daniel Gafford (10 points, 13 rebounds, one steal, one block) in the starting lineup. The presence of another big allows Davis to roam defensively and create more weak-side shot-blocking opportunities. While being the lone big may elevate his offensive numbers, sharing the frontcourt with Gafford enhances his defensive impact.
