Rudy Gobert (suspension) out Tuesday
by David Leisering | Timberwolves Correspondent | Mon, Jan 12th 7:25pm EST
Rudy Gobert has been suspended one game for picking up his sixth flagrant foul point during Sunday's game against the Spurs. Gobert will miss Tuesday's game against Milwaukee. (Jon Krawczynski on X)
Fantasy Impact:
It was Gobert's fifth flagrant foul of the season - one of which was a Flagrant 2 to give him six flagrant foul points. Gobert was held to just two points on 1-of-4 shooting against the Spurs, but he did pull down 14 rebounds - his eighth consecutive game with at least 10 boards. Gobert is averaging 11.0 points and 11.4 rebounds per game while shooting a ridiculous 71.7% from the field this season. Each flagrant foul that Gobert picks up the remainder of the season will result in an automatic two-game suspension. Naz Reid will likely start for the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
