Gillespie finished with 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting Thursday while adding six assists, four three-pointers, two steals and two rebounds in Phoenix's loss to Detroit. He converted two of three free-throw attempts, marking his highest scoring output since posting 25 points in a December 29 victory over Washington. With Devin Booker (ankle) and Jalen Green (hamstring) both sidelined, Gillespie saw expanded offensive opportunities.
