Deni Avdija was limited to 18 minutes in Thursday’s 127-110 win over the Miami Heat due to back discomfort. However, Portland Trail Blazers head coach Tiago Splitter said after the game he expects Avdija to play in Friday's contest against the Toronto Raptors. (Sean Highkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Coach Splitter said Avdija wanted to remain in the game, which is an encouraging sign that the injury may not be too serious. Despite being limited to 18 minutes, Avdija scored 20 points to record his eighth straight game with at least 20 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists. While the official injury report will not be released until Friday afternoon, fantasy managers can consider him probable.
