Gardner, previously on a two-way contract, has signed a standard deal with the Heat after appearing in 26 games. He’s averaging 4.2 points, three rebounds and one assist in 9.8 minutes per game. Stepping in admirably when the team has been shorthanded due to injuries, he’s averaged 6.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 15.9 minutes over his last eight games.
