Ryan Nembhard to sign two-year standard deal with Mavericks

Ryan Nembhard is being promoted from a two-way contract to a two-year standard deal with the Dallas Mavericks according to multiple reports. Dallas is expected to waive Tyus Jones to open the spot on the roster. (Shams Charania on X)

Nembhard, who went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga, has been on a two-way deal with the Mavericks this season. He has not appeared in a game since February 5 as he was approaching the 50-game limit for two-way players. He has played 38 games for Dallas and is averaging 6.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. Nembhard has started 17 contests and contributed 9.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists while making 44.4% of his three-point attempts in those contests.
