Orlando Magic waive Jared Cunningham

Jared Cunningham was traded to the Orlando Magic on Thursday as part of a three-team deal. The Magic did not intend to keep Cunningham on their roster following the trade. (John Denton on Twitter)

Cunningham has averaged 2.6 points per game this season - slightly above his career average of 2.3 ppg. He is in his third year in the NBA and could still get picked up by a team with a need at guard late in the season.
