Greg Smith to remain with the Timberwolves for the rest of the season

Center Greg Smith has signed with the Timberwolves for the remainder of the season after his second 10-day contract expired after last night's game against the Golden State Warriors. Smith has stepped in as a moral leader for the Wolves in place of the injured Kevin Garnett. (Kent Youngblood on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith should see an uptick in his minutes as the Wolves close out the season. Right now, he averages 10.6 minutes per game with 2.3 points and 2.2 rebounds in nine appearances.
