Alonzo Gee waived by Pelicans

Alonzo Gee has been waived by the Pelicans. With Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans out an extended period of time, it came down to Gee and Lance Stephenson for the final roster spot. In the end, Stephenson's play making ability was the deciding factor. Gee will be paid $1.2 million by the Pelicans still and will likely find a team at some point this season.
